Villain is an independent print magazine born in Milan. Each volume opens a single file (crime, politics, subcultures, aesthetics) and follows it to the end, to the places where power, violence, style and identity meet.
We are building a contemporary archive of the figures and movements that official narratives prefer to leave out. Our approach is narrative, documentary and neutral. We don't celebrate, and we don't condemn.
It is slow journalism, made for paper.
The Method
